Low-Cost Therapist
I am currently a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University and have completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a double major in Studio Arts at the University of Toronto. With my background in arts and psychology, I bring a unique blend of creativity and psychological insight to my practice.
I am passionate about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in their journey toward healing and self-discovery. My experience spans working with marginalized populations, including children and families of colour, where I have provided behaviour therapy and fostered culturally sensitive care. I draw from an Afrocentric feminist lens to honour the intersectionality of culture, race, and identity, tailoring my approach to each client’s unique needs.
As a Christian, I understand the importance of faith in navigating life’s challenges and offer faith-based counseling for those who wish to integrate their spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process.
Mental health is about balance, self-awareness, and growth. My goal is to work alongside clients in a collaborative and supportive way, offering a space where they feel respected, understood, and safe. It is an honour to help individuals overcome obstacles, tap into their inner strength, and create lasting, positive changes in their lives.
